Part one of documenting a personal project rebuild, something I haven’t been able to prioritise for a goodly while around here. Nothing too fancy, but a ground up rebuild and some functional and aesthetic mods should see this ECM giotto classic scrub up nicely. Part one entails stripping back to bare chassis, descale everything, make a bunch of holes in the chassis for new features, blast away the rust and strengthen the frame (forgot I can’t weld, but remembered I can braze!), and finally fit cartridge heating and temperature probe to the group.
